Our Flis Kit Deuce's Wild

Amost done! Some trim to add when I figure out what I want it to look like, but ready for flight.

Construction

This is a Christmas gift from John Hornsby. It went together with very little trouble. Instructions were very good.


This is the motor mount. The laser cut centering rings made assembly a breeze.



Looking down at the side, you can see how the angle is set by the rings.


The template for the cut-outs is great, very little trimming was needed to get the mount to fit properly.


Here the mount is installed. The rocket on top is my granddaugher's Star Dart.

The rocket now has a base coat of yellow. It will get a second coat, blue, as soon as I pick up the paint. The nose cone is not finished at this point.
