This was one of the very first rockets I built when I got back into the hobby in 1991. It has proven to be one of the most rugged rockets in my collection. Several shock cord separations had done little to no damage to the body or fins, it wants to tumble after losing connection to the nose cone. Strange fact: All separations have been at the knot tieing the shock cord to the nose cone. The parachute is attached directly to the ring on the nose cone and so the cone has been recovered each time.
