| 4/19/03 | Wallace Marine Park | Mikki lauched the rocket twice today (see the pictures). The flights were on a B6-4 and a B4-4. They didn't go very high, maybe 300 ft., the B6-4 flight caught a gust of wind just off the rod and arched pretty hard in to the breeze. It will be interesting to see how the pictures turned out, only 22 more on the roll. |
| 10-26-03 | Joe Dancer Park | Seven flights today. Three on C6-7s and 4 on C6-5s. The first 4 flights all had the chute separate from the shroud lines. I changed to a streamer on the body and a 9 in chute on the camera and still had a separtation. Finally added a 6 in. section of 1/4 in. elastic to the nose section and recovery was great after that. Except for the fin breaking on landing at the end of the 5th flight. Fortunately John had his body with him and I was able to get in two more flights by the end of the day. |
